What is Coaching?

Coaching is a process for enabling people to make positive changes. In the words of John Whitmore ‘Coaching is unlocking people’s potential to maximize their own performance.’

 

I will work with you to help facilitate change, gain clarity and awareness around what you want and how you can get there. I use a combination of methods to help you reach your goals. 

 

Who is Coaching for?

Anyone who wants to make changes, shift limiting beliefs, find balance, explore options, feel more confident, or break unhelpful patterns or habits. 

 

If you want to change your relationship with something, coaching can help you.

 

What can Coaching help with?

Coaching is ideal for personal development, improving your health, shifting unwanted habits, overcoming blocks, negative patterns and limiting beliefs, dealing with issues and challenges, increasing confidence, changing and/or developing direction. 

 

I offer coaching sessions to break habits such as smoking and over-eating.  

 

I also use coaching to help clients shift fears, such as the fear of flying. 

 

I can help you with:

  • increasing your confidence
  • changing your relationship with a fear

What does a Coach do?

A coach supports and challenges the coachee, enabling them to identify and clarify their own goals and develop their own plans to achieve them. The coach does not advise, guide, or mentor. A coach creates a productive, focused space for the coachee to explore and pursue their own thinking and find solutions.



As a coach, I create a safe space for clients to think deeply, discover breakthroughs, to unlock potential, increase awareness & insight in order to achieve your goals.  You are the agenda, this is focused time for you.



I will listen deeply, I will ask questions, I will sometimes ask the question no one else would ask.

What is a Coaching session like?

We will focus on whatever you want to explore or achieve. I will use skilled questioning, and a variety of techniques to allow you to gain clarity, raise awareness and move towards your goals. Allowing you to make sustainable changes.

 

Some people like to have the first session in person and then use Zoom/Skype or phone for further sessions. 

 

How many session will I need?

This really depends on you and your personal situation. You can book one session or a regular session each week or month.  

 

How much does it cost and how long is a session?

Sessions can be 30 minutes,  1 hour, 90 minutes or 2 hours. The length of sessions, session frequency and number of sessions are agreed with each client on an individual basis and we will discuss this before the first session.  (The Programmes are detailed separately)

 

1  hour session £75

90 minute session £90

4 hours per month £250  (30, 60 or 90 minute sessions to fit your schedule)

If you are on a low income or unemployed please email me – I offer some lower cost sessions each month.

 

You can book session by session if you prefer, or you can book to work with me for a 1, 3 or 6 month period,  this could be an initial longer session, followed by shorter sessions and could be in person or by Zoom or phone. What next?

If we decide we want to work together I will send you a coaching contract before our first session.
